Massimo Migliuolo

Vice President, Service Provider, Emerging Markets
Cisco
Massimo Migliuolo is Vice President of the Service Provider business for the Emerging Markets Theatre at Cisco Systems Inc., the worldwide leader in networking, transforming how people connect, communicate and collaborate.
Massimo has led the Service Provider organisation since August 2006, which currently accounts for more than 35% of Cisco’s Emerging Markets business (by segment). Cisco’s Emerging Markets Theatre covers four key regions: Central and Eastern Europe (CEE), Russia and the Commonwealth of Independent States (RCIS), Latin America (LATAM) and Middle East, Africa (MEA).
Key engagements for Cisco include advising country and service provider leaders about their Information and Communication technology (ICT) and broadband strategy, enabling the built-out of Digital Cities across the Middle East, in addition to the creation of a Public and Safety Virtual Service Provider (VSP) in Latin America.
Recognised as an innovator and thought leader in Cisco, Massimo is focused on creating new business models and developing new solutions to help Service Providers, as well as Governments, continue their transformational broadband build-out in the Emerging Markets. In particular, Massimo is leading Cisco’s vision of a Virtual Service Provider (VSP), enabled through his passion for and knowledge of linking market segments to create greater opportunity for Cisco’s customers.
Previously, Massimo was responsible for developing Cisco’s global mobile strategy and implementing the company’s vision for mobile Service Providers. Under Massimo’s leadership, Cisco’s mobility business tripled and his team enabled Cisco’s sales force with revenue-generating and cost-reducing solutions to accelerate growth. Massimo also focused on creating new markets and business models to continuously generate value in the form of new services to end-users. Massimo was able to significantly drive growth for Cisco by brokering key mobile alliances and partnerships to help scale the business.
Massimo joined Cisco eight years ago from Lucent Technologies and previously worked at AT&T, where he was engaged in the development of their mobile market.
Having graduated from the Bocconi University in Milan, with a degree in Business Economics, Massimo spent three years in the Oil Industry, before joining the telecommunications industry.
Roger Dorf

Vice President, Broadband Wireless Business Unit

Previously President and CEO for Navini Networks,
and now vice president at Cisco’s Broadband Wireless Business Unit, Roger Dorf has more than thirty years of professional experience in executive and engineering leadership. Roger was most recently the chief executive officer of Austin, Texas based Celite Systems. Prior to that position Roger was the vice president and general manager of Nortel Network’s Broadband Access Business Unit (formerly Promatory), as well as president and chief executive officer at Promatory prior to the company’s acquisition by Nortel in March of 2000. Roger started his career at IBM where he held several senior management positions including site general manager (Austin, TX) and vice-president of operations ROLM. He serves as an outside director of Amplifynet, Inc. and Apta Software and also serves on the board of The Educate the Children Foundation. He holds a masters degree in manufacturing engineering from Boston University and a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Missouri Rolla.
Krassimir Stoitcheff

CEO, Max Telecom
Krassimir Stoitcheff, 52, has spent his whole career in high tech. He has a degree in Statistics and Econometrics from the Sofia University of National and World Economy. He started in private business in 1988 and after working for several years in telecommunication equipment trading companies in 1994 he founded and served as CEO of MobilTel – the first Bulgarian GSM operator, which he sold in 1998. After several other ventures, including founding and divesting of two of the largest newspapers in Bulgaria, he founded Max Telecom Ltd /http://www.maxtelecom.bg// in 2005, which obtained through a public tender a national WiMAX license. The company started commercial service at the end of 2007 and is covering currently 40% of the population of the country, planning to cover 90% at the end of 2008.
Lil Mohan

Director of the Emerging Markets for Intel’s WiMAX Program Office
Intel Corp
Lil is Director of the Emerging Markets for Intel’s WiMAX Program Office. He is responsible for accelerating the development and build out of broadband wireless networks in all Emerging Markets worldwide. Earlier, he was Director of Wireless Strategy & Planning for the Mobility Group at Intel, where he drove strategic wireless communications initiatives that span across multiple mobile client devices.
Prior to Intel, Lil was Vice President, Software Strategy at Motorola’s Personal Communications Sector (PCS) where he was responsible for developing and driving a consistent software strategy for Motorola hand-sets.
Earlier, Dr. Mohan was General Manager of Amazon.com’s division targeted to extend the company’s reach to wireless and broadband platforms and devices. He also ran Amazon’s Product Finder business. Lil came to Amazon when his company Junglee Corp. was acquired. While at Junglee, he was part of the early start-up team and ran product marketing.
In his 17 year professional career he has also worked in lead technical, marketing, and general management roles at Sun Microsystems and J. P. Morgan Venture Partners. Lil has a PhD in Electrical Engineering from Purdue University, an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management at Ahmedabad, India, and a BS in Electronics & Communications Engineering from the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, India.
